I have worked in financial services throughout my career, a predominantly male- dominated environment as an Asian female. I have a seven year old boy.

As a Category Manager, I have built and rebuilt categories value propositions and led multifunctional teams (overseeing merchandising, planning, design, and sourcing) in a leading fashion retail player.
My experience in the Fashion-Tech industry includes collaboration with product and marketing teams and leading strategic projects discussions with prominent fashion brands and retailers worldwide.
I’m a Circular Economy enthusiast and an experienced Fashion Business Strategist who loves to work with people to develop creative ways to solve problems.

With 36 years in the petroleum and chemicals industry in Mobil, BP and Lubrizol, Bernard focused on Asia Pacific and was based in China for 19 years from 1999 to July 2018.

Currently, Bernard is Chair/CEO Coach for Vistage Asia Connect, private advisory boards for CEOs, executives and business owners. He is also an executive coach with Marshall Goldsmith Coaching.
Bernard is also senior advisor/operating director for Hafnium Hafaway, a PE investment & advisory. He is the Chairman of Fermatics, an A*Star and Hafnium co-venture to develop active ingredients for cosmetics & life science sector.

Prior to that, Bernard was Asia Pacific head for The Lubrizol Corporation, a US specialty chemicals company and a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway. He led Lubrizol Advanced Materials from 2008; in 2015, his responsibilities expanded to include Lubrizol Additives. He also served as a board member in a Japanese CPVC joint venture with Sekisui. Bernard retired from Lubrizol in July 2018.

In 2000, Bernard was general manager for China BP-Castrol Lubricants where he successfully turned around the business. In end 2002, he moved to form and was the first general manager for BP-Sinopec retail joint venture in Zhejiang province till March 2007 when he rejoined Lubrizol. He also served as a board member in this joint venture.

Bernard earned his Bachelor of Science (Hons.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Strathclyde, UK in 1981. In 2014, he gained his executive MBA from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

I am a well-rounded professional with 20 years of experiences in Consumer Product industry with a proven track record of success in commercial strategy, innovation creation, new products launch and international business expansion within the region of APAC, Europe, and Middle East. Before my current job at Vitasoy, I worked for several multinational companies like Coca-Cola, Kimberly-Clark, Kao and Philip Morris.

I am a motivating Leader who believes in coaching individuals and talents to success. Culturally savvy, leads international teams in different geographies to deliver an exceptional business result.

Mentoring is my passion. I've been mentored young students and professionals in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia to prepare them to succeed in their workplace. I also teach students money management on financial workshop.

I am a mother of 12 yo boy who has ADHD and very athletic. He love basketball and skateboard/scooter. Together with SPARK (Society for the Promotion of ADHD Research and Knowledge), recently I am involved in one of Series program for children age 11-14 about cat knowledge and stray cats in Singapore to build children's empathy.

Health and wellness is also my interest. I love nature, together with my son we love exploring park/forest in Singapore as well as in other countries. My favorite sports are yoga, boxing and diving. I practice meditation and start in January 2021 I teach my son for mediate. I like enjoying sound bath meditation which is excellent for managing stress and improving my overall wellbeing.

Have run my own creative consultancy for 28 years, I'm a 50 year partitioner of meditation. Is a 35 year student of ‘A Course In Miracles’, Has studied Vedanta with the Chimayananda Mission Trust, Reiki (level 3) with Master Chua Ai Mie in Singapore as well as having spent 7 years volunteering at Children’s trauma centers in the USA.

I'm also a 34 year member of a number to 12 step programs and for 5 years facilitated a 12 step prison program at KBC prison, Singapore

I'm from a working class background in Manchester and left the UK and a large family when I finished university and move to Australia. From a work perspective I spent most of my time working in and our technology and outsourcing in lots of different roles. These ranged from a business analyst, project manager, consultant, pre-sales consultant, partner director (in the US) and then responsible for market expansion into ASEAN. This role was via a startup that was launch approximately 5 years ago. Most of my experience is around contact centre technology/AI/ML and I'm not so much a technologist as CX person focused on technology. I'm now living in Singapore and have been here for two and a half years. I love the food, the melting pot of cultures and the food (did I mention the food?)

Having been inducted through conventional post-graduate education in business at the University of Newcastle, Australia & having gone thru an unorthodox enterprise education at Excellerated Business Schools, Bali, Indonesia, my personal learning curve increased exponentially. Originally trained as an Accountant moved on to work as a sales director for an Italian consortium focusing on high-end fashion. Later migrated to director sales and marketing, for a US based seminar and training company, my exposure to training and entrepreneurship excellerated and also was responsible for sales and event management in Singapore, Malaysia and Australia. Having over 44 years of professional experience in the fields of corporate finance, management, sales and marketing was unhappy with the job environment and making ends meet.

Wealth predominantly belongs to the owner of a business, as a business is basically an asset. An asset puts money in your pocket while liability takes money out of your pocket. With this revelation, I tried building a start-up traditional business thrice but failed miserably.

I knew the only way to create wealth was to build a business and in October 2002, my nephew, a practising lawyer, introduced me to an e-commerce business. I was sceptical at first but did 3 months of research while pursuing my Masters of Business that helped me clarify and understand the differences between a traditional and non-traditional business. The research I collated was mind-boggling, as I found out that the e-commerce business was a growing industry. In the process, I stumbled upon my current mentor Kankan & Samina Bhattacharya from the US, New Jersey, retired in their 30s and they have been a blessing in my life for the past 18 years, coaching and mentoring me and my team. We are now paying it forward.

I am a kind person and creative, firm, intelligent, objective, rational, enjoy teamwork, a positive thinker, expect success for myself, and have a very strong sense of dignity, self-respect, and personal honor, and often find myself organizing, managing, or supervising group activities. I have strong convictions and feelings about fairness and equality. I am forward-looking and progressive and I have great hopes for the future. My strong points include my concern for human welfare and social betterment, bringing about mutual understanding, harmony, and satisfaction is an area in which I can really excel. Counseling or negotiating is my talent.

I'm also a certified mindfulness based leadership trainer, and I'm getting trained to be a certified coach.
